Hi i am in the process of getting an E560 and am looking at ordering a "Gas It" system so i can install it.
When i look at the spec sheet regarding the size of the gas bottle compartment it says
"Compartment for 2 x 7kg gas bottles with fitted butane/propane regulator"
Can anyone tell me is that the biggest bottles i could fit in there ? or is there room to fit bigger bottles.
Also seems that "Gas It" only does 6kg & 11kg bottles so i take it that would mean me down grading 2kg , but at the same time making the system refillable.

I've also got a Bessacarr E560 and fitted a single 4 hole 36 ltr (18kg) GasIt Plus refillable gas bottle.

By removing the shroud/carrying handle on the top of the bottle (3small nuts & bolts) The bottle easily fits inside the E560 locker.

Along with a remote contents gauge to show how much gas you have in them via LED's inside the vehicle.

I chose to fit en external fill point to the aluminium skirt below the gas locker.

Excellent thanks for taking the time to upload pics etc :)
Is that you filler down at the bottom left below the gas bottle door ? Hard to see on my phone :)
Is the gauge sender a good job is it ?
    Thanks

@Tykatem I Picked up my E560 yesterday :) now time to revisit this refillable gas system , Do you or anyone else know if you can fit 2 x 18 KG cylinders into the gas cabinet on the E560 , if not then what size 2nd bottle could i fit into the cabinet ( or are all the cylinders 6 kg 11 kg 18 kg the same diameter ) ??

@Tykatem thanks for the info :) , did you install the system yourself or get it installed ?
Do you know what hose it is you used to connect the bottle to the regulator , as did not want to order the wrong hose for it.
It seems from the chart and my measurements that you cannot fit a 2nd bottle of any beside the 18kg cylinder.
how long does that 1 tank last you and what all appliances do you use it for.
    So many Qqq'ssss ^^

@Tykatem Thanks Pete , i just think that fridge will be the biggest user , as its on 24/7 , ill be trying to use an EHU as little as possible,, well thats my plan,,lol
Thanks for the link for the hose i take it that just screws directly onto the regulator without any adapters ?
As for the filler end of the system did you just use a 1.5 mtr straight hose , with a 90 degree filler. as in the following
    http://www.gasit.co.uk/leisure-gas-...tion-hoses/1-5-mtr-gas-it-fast-fill-hose.html
    http://www.gasit.co.uk/leisure-gas-...lids/jic-bayonet-angled-fill-point-fixed.html
    http://www.gasit.co.uk/leisure-gas-...ids/70mm-recessed-fillpoint-box-in-white.html

    Then i also need

    http://www.gasit.co.uk/leisure-gas-...6-ltr-18kg-gas-it-plus-refillable-bottle.html
    http://www.gasit.co.uk/leisure-gas-...-it-9-led-contents-gauge-and-tank-sender.html

Does that look right to you

@Tykatem was just reading another gas thread there when someone mentioned that a 13 kg cylinder was heavy for them to lift into the gas locker when it dawned on me to ask you , did you do any reinforcement work to the locker floor to strengthen it to take the 18 kg cylinder , or was all good as it is :)
