Hi, has anyone got experience of fitting a second leisure battery
to a Bessacarr E425.

I have lifted the carpet and checked the battery well built into
the floor and it is only large enough for one battery.

Today I looked under the motorhome and their does not appear to
be much room....due to chassis, pipes etc.

Thanks in advance for any forthcoming information on this topic.

I'm a newbie
Hi Mike - I'm looking at doing the same myself but my MH is a Bessacarr E495 with the same arrangement for the battery, I assume. I expect to have to thread the new cables through a hole in the side of the existing battery box and under the floor into the storage box under the near side rear sofa where I intend to site my 2nd battery. I'm using the near side rather than the off side cos it's handier for all the current wiring and I'm intending to follow up with a solar panel and invertor unit.
Let me know how you progress with it and I'll do the same. Cheers - Alan

I did that on a E465 ,one under the floor ran cables under the floor to the under seating area for second battery, make sure you secure the second with wood screwed to the floor to stop it moving about worked fine for me. Pete
