We're off to Berlin in a couple of weeks as I'm running the marathon, the last time we did Berlin we stayed at a Stelplatz style site right in the city. This place has now closed so can anyone give suggestions for a campsite with easy access to city or a nice quiet place to wild camp.

Campercontact.com is your friend, I just put Berlin into the search and there are loads. Have a look and find one suitable for your requirements. :D

Yes I've had a look on there I was hoping to get something a bit closer. The last time we stayed just 20 minute walk from Brandenburg Gate, reason I'm wanting to be close is i will have an early rise on the Sunday as have to be at the Marathon around 8am.

5 years, feel free to ask me about the Carado!!
I wouldn't recommend Knopenicker hof, the first time I stayed was fine, last time a few months ago it was very noisy very late at night. As for wilding if you have anything looking valuable, I think ma Merkel's new toy boys will be very interested.
