Armanello is not a bad site, but its too far out and the walk up the lane after dark is not for the feint hearted. It is one of the cheaper sites long term and is favoured by the Dutch.

We have also stayed on El Raco it has 2 good swimming pools very nice views
and is also only 5 min from town I think this year it is 16 euros per day that is
with 2 kw of electric a day you have to stay for a minimum of 30 days to get that
price it also includes tv connection a well stocked shop and a good bar and resturant

Our preference is Villa Sol, why stop on a site situated up a long hill. It might be slightly cheaper but after a good night out, no thank you.

Armanello has had a lot of improvements done last year its a great site june july but is a but like cardboard city in the winter villaosl is ok but i hate the way they decide to charge different prices depending who is on duty and the bar manager is the most miserable git i have ever met benisol is also a good site and acsi but a bit further out of toiwn but on the bus route so no problem getting into town we are heading for raco this time cant comment aint been there before but booking if poss is recommended la torrenta is also ok seemed good when i visited it but again had quotes of different prices from the site for the same time period

I know what I pay. Have been paying the same price for the last 5 years. Before that the same price for the previous 5 years and before that, the same price for the previous 5 years. A bit boring really, but thats what you get by being a regular customer. I was in Benidorm in July for 14 days and paid the same rate as I would pay for winter long stays. If I call in whilst passing for a few days I only pay the long term rate. All this dodging about between sites is not always in your favour, as once you become a known regular customer they will all give preferential rates.
