the eye of the beholder.
The insect life interest us as much as other forms of wildlife. It is also a barometer of the health of the environment.
In the Limousin there is a wealth of insect life, these were taken on our walk around Cognac-La-Foret today.

BTW I know snails are not insects but we have our own collective noun.....critters!!!

Nice pictures Ken. I like the one of the dragonfly as I tried to snap a few with my new camera at Bridgnorth a couple of weeks ago - the attached is the best.

I was surprised to see quite a large dragonfly in the middle of Middlesbrough town centre this morning. We get them occasionally in the garden but the first time I've seen one so far from any greenery/water.
