A flyer included with my Kleeneze booklet today claimed that it could protect the fraudulent skimming of my credit or debit cards by covering the magnetic strip with a protective sticker. The sticker apparently features "Voyager Blue TM Technology in the material which will disrupt any scanner signal" The protective strip is called a "Skimpot".
A" Card Fraud Guard" card is displayed showing the web site www.cardsecured.co.uk which I wasn't able to access for whatever reason.
When searching under Skimpot it seems that the company is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
There are various "Special Offers" between £12.99 and £25.98
I am not claiming that this device is not genuine or that it doesn't work, it's just for your information.
