I wonder if anyone can help? I am trying to find one of the battery topup bottles like I had years ago. It has a spout which stopped flowing when the correct level was reached. It's one of those brilliantly simple devices but not so easy to find these days.

a clean gearbox oil bottle with the built in spout will do just as well as the proper thing.

as long as the end of the spout is below the water level it wont flow.

I am sure I bought a 1 ltr bottle of distilled water that came with the spout (£2 ) ? will have to check in the garage because I usually fill from a 5 ltr bottle into the 1 ltr then battery
