Hi

I have 2 leisure batteries. One was failing and as I didn't know the age of the other, I bought 2 110ah ones from tayna.

I am pretty clueless but carefully removed the old ones and installed the 2 new ones.

The reading on the control panel now shows as below photo?

Have I done something wrong

What is your panel? a dt201 or similar?
Picture with batt at front of van refers to starter batt at 13.8v so thats good.
Picture with batt to rear shows leisure batt at 14.1v so assume on charge. The 50a is unlikely to be charge rate unless you have a very strong charger. . Does the 50a reading decline? If not it may refer to battery capacity? This can be altered on the panel. You need the manual, dt201 is in resources section of mhf.

After fitting, did you re-calibrate the control panel ?

Check in the user book for your panel..
not sure if it needs to be done if you changed 'like for like' but will do no harm to check..

1. Press the battery button.

2. Press the menu button for more than 3 seconds. The current maximum battery capacity is displayed.

4. Press the menu button again. The battery capacity will begin to flash.

5. Use the + or- buttons to adjust the display to the capacity of the new battery.

7. Confirm by pressing “OK”

8. Exit by pressing any button or waiting 20 seconds.

9. Your new battery parameters are now set.

10. You’ll also have to reset the date & time

11. Plug in EHU & charge the new battery for 24hrs.
