Im back again looking for advice.
Having bought a battery tester from Machine mart, I have established that my leisure batteries (2) are fine, but my on-board charging unit may not be doing its job properley. I have a Benimar Aero Anthus. My question is what are the implications on trying to source and replace the unit myself. Im quite handy at most jobs, but have sufficient common sense to avoid electrics due to ignorance?

Anything from dead easy too "yes can you connect me to the fire-brigade and quickly".

At the dead easy end only 5 wires are involved, +/-12V and three 240V. Provided you can identify "A Charger" with 5 wires then buying a standard caravan charger ( £100 ish ) should be a wire for wire replacement.

But if the charger is part of a glorified system you'd better call in a pro.
