Hi all i am new to motorhoming and i would like some info on battery care.
I an able to leave the MH on a mains hook up all the time, and i would like to know if this will overcharge the leisure battery?, as i have just fitted a new battery and i dont want to damage it by overcharging.

Thanks in advance for any reply.:thumb:

After your battery is fully charged the charger should automatically revert to maintenance charge and should be ok to leave the mains on. I normally have mine connected and on charge for the couple of months we are at home. Although a couple of days before we are due to set off I switch the charger over to cab battery to make sure the van is going to start first time.

I have a battery and alternator tester like this one!

Its hooked up to my leasure battery pack and gives me quick and easy to read status of the batteries all the time!

Does this do anything that a meter doesn't do?
