When I put a digital Multimeter on this battery what figure should I get for a fully charged battery?

Any help appreciated.

12.7v, after the battery has not had any form of charging (driving, solar etc) for at least 5 hours.

Thanks.

So I need to disconnect the battery completely, the solar panel will be giving some power even this time of the year, and then check after 5 hours.

Is that right?

And if it doesn't reach 12.7v at what point should I get really worried?
