Battery Age - Varta Blue Dynamic (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Just been trawling the internet trying to find out the age of a varta battery I have. There's lots of contradicting answers on how to decipher.
Some sites say that they are colour coded with a dot but there's nothing on mine. Other give various ways to read the code that's etched in the top of the battery, but answers vary.
Mine reads E5C212031 0726 536521
Any ideas?

Thanks @pappajohn , I take it that's the 5C part your referencing? The only thing is the battery looks a lot newer and the van is a 2007 registration??

The battery could have been made in 2005 and dry stored (no electrolyte and will last indefinately) then activated in 2006/7.
