i am after new batteries and would like to know what other funsters thoughts are , would i be better with say 2 or 3 batteries at 85amp or 1 large battery at 220amp ?

after reading a few discussions on this seems a lot of leisure batteries are mince i am needing a couple myself and was wondering whats the best out there.

If you have room, multiples of 6 Volt Higher amp batteries will last longer and give much better service, will cost a lot more though.

Just put 4 on mine and last about 3 days running including the heating and TV so not bad, want to see how long they last without the heating running.

i ended up getting 1 large 180amp battery from lucas /alpha batteries for £124.99 delivered next day delivery , as space was tight and it was a job to get 3 batteries under the back of the van, plus i can do away with the connecting leads now

Buy a proper traction battery- Trojan, Dyno, Hawker, CMP or similar.
