If my leisure batteries reading is 14.2 and my engine battery is 13.7 and I then drive somewhere and go on electric hookup will I blow the batteries?

Or do they shut off automatically until I use the electric for heating, etc.?

Your batteries will only take as much charge as they need Joy.

Unless your charger is faulty there little chance of seriously overcharging.

Yep, sure sounds ok.

The 14.2 volts is probally with the hook up connected and the charger on. Thats about right. if you turn the charger off the voltage will drop to 12.7-13v after a few mins. This proves that the hook up charger is working
