Has anyone stayed at this site before?

We have been there a couple of times on M.C.C. rallies.
A flat grass field with fresh water and waste facilities. There is an activity and information centre, nice walks along the canal pathway.

not stopped there but plenty of fond memories. Used to Fish Mychette lock as a kid.
caught my first pike there aged about 5 and scared me to death.

Nikki grew up less than 1 mile away. Hope you have a good time and let me know what its like, would be nice for a trip back down memory lane.

Basingstoke Canal Campsite

We stay there every year for a canoe race. It s great for kids big open fiield and a good play area. Access is provided to the shower and toilet if you want them.
