Hello all,

We've just booked a 2 day return crossing with P&O using their promotional code - FREEWINEDY. This includes 6 free bottles of wine and buy one get one free English Breakfast or Fish & Chips. Offer to be taken before 28th February.

We have done this trip a few times using our car but didn't realise we could take our Motorhome for the the incredibly cheap price of £23 return. Not bad eh?

Great deal. When we lived just 10 miles from the ports, we would often take advantage of similar deals. Now we're 250 miles away they're harder to justify.:Sad:

No we did it all online - our dates chosen are 25/26th Feb.

As soon as you choose car over 1.8m high it will prompt you for height and length of your vehicle.

You forgot to mention it is for day trips, I guess the clue was in the fact that it was OK if you live near the port.

It is a 2 day return. I got an e-mail from P&O about it recently.

I didnt realise it included motorhomes though.

Just done a test booking, and you can indeed get a one night return for £24. Just have a reservation about using the 'high car' option to book a motorhome though. If you try booking a non-offer crossing, the drop down menu includes motorhomes, whereas the offer menu does not. I'm sure I've seen in the past that these offers exclude motorhomes. Would be a shame to turn up and be refused boarding: anyone contacted P&O to clarify?

I can understand the 'no motorhomes' bit, but the booking form accessed from the day trip offer link allows you to travel out one day and back the next - £12 each way when I tried it. I also tried it with a return trip the day after that [two nights] which it wouldn't allow. Can't see how they could prevent you travelling once you've booked it correctly?

He might be not be able to take the motorhome, but will they still let him have the 6 free bottles of wine and a full English in the Dover Car Park....:thumb::thumb:
