Had this yesterday and I must say that it was the best recipe I have ever tasted for Barbecue Style Rack of Ribs: 1 x 3 rib pork rack (ask for back ribs which are shorter) Sprig of Rosemary Sprig of Thyme 1 clove of garlic unpeeled with slit. Place ribs and herbs (I used dried) and garlic into a saucepan, cover with boiling water and boil for 10 minutes. Glaze 1 Tbsp Golden Syrup or Honey (I used Honey) 2 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup Pinch Ground Ginger 1 Tbsp Soya Sauce 1 Tbsp Brown sugar Place all the glaze ingredients in a pan and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Heat oven to 200ºC/400ºF/Gas 6. Place ribs into a metal roasting dish and brush with glaze. Place into oven and cook for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and turn over and brush with glaze. Place back into oven and cook for further 10-12 minutes. No messing about with marinating in fridge overnight etc. Definitely the best ribs I've ever tasted but would love to hear from anyone with an equally good - or even better - recipe.
