We're in le treport by the funicular railway at the mo but have found a large increase of motorhomes particularly french ones in the last few days on the Aires around the North.
There is a Big travelling fair on the front here probably for the week.
Is May bank holiday a big thing here?

Bank holidays = traffic chaos around here.

It looks like rain this weekend so DIY to do, then off when the sun comes out and the roads are clear again :thumb:

Probably not sure but in Spain it is a national holiday (workers day)

SAINT-VALERY-SUR-SOMME is very nice with a market Sunday & Wednesday

I didn't think you liked jazz :Doh::Sad:

Shame....being Norman no-mates, I've got the entire front grass-only section at Winchcombe C&CC all to myself at the moment

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
Well I've been busy today at home all day Spring cleaning.
Changed 4 beds.
Cleaned the fridge
Cleaned out under the sink
Emptied the kitchen carousel and wiped it down, soy sauce had tipped over and made a right mess.
Cleaned the whole of the inside windows , front back and sides of the house.
Polished all the mirrors
Cleaned 3 bathrooms
Hoovered through the house and dusted everything
Cleaned all the internal doors both sides, and the skirting boards and architraves
Wiped down all the oak kitchen doors and polished them

Stripped my big corner sofa cushions, Isaac had spilt milk on it ! I risked washing them on a cold wool wash . Got them out on the whirlygig this morning and have just put them back on , un shrunk and smelling lovely and fresh.
Made tea
Phew.

Was at my sons wedding yesterday, sunny but cold breeze. Went for a suckling pig meal in a Spanish restaurant in Liverpool after the wedding then we all went to see Singing in the Rain at the theatre in the evening. Lovely day and I managed to get through it without shedding a single tear :roflmto:

Nice weather here in N.Somerset ::bigsmile:
Spent some time washing both vehicles and checking that Motor Home was fully equipped for our upcoming 6 week trip to France (18th May) Also booked ferry-Poole-Cherbourg.

All so much easier on forecourt of our new, smaller property than back in Llantrisant.

Ralph spent yesterday catching up on a months with of invoices, posted them all out today. Then all day today he's been brewing stout and beer.
The house is spotless but smells like tadcaster brewery !
Ps Helen , I had my usual breakfast. Poached egg on granary toast!
