This coming weekend is one of the biggest Bank Holiday weekends of the year in Spain. Friday 6th-Constitution Day & Monday 9th (in lieu of previous day)- La Inmaculada. Accordingly, away from coastal areas............ Spain will be SHUT!!

Curiously, most if not all shops will be open normal Saturday hours on the 7th December.

    Regards, Bryan:BigGrin:

Would just like to mention that the only provinces where Monday 9th December is a holiday are:

    Andalucia
    Asturias
    Castilla Leon
    Extremadura
    Murcia
    La Rioja
    Ceuta

All the rest will be open as usual! :thumb:

    Correction, Correction, Correction !!!!!

Sorry for bad info guys. Our local Eroski, Lidl , Dia and others are open Sunday, so guess this will be replicated across the land.

Oh, how Spain has changed over 10 years, the country would truly have been closed down when we first arrived. Sunday and Bank Holiday opening just like UK normal now.

Better or worse ? I know what I think.

Regards, Bryan ....... may Buenas Fiestas a todos !
