Have asked on German parent company website if drop down bed a standard fitting...

Yes looks a bit funny to me as well, what I was saying is that you should have signed an order form and been given some paperwork.

My next post included a link to the Carado brochure and it say the drop down bed is special equipment at Euro 1399 and 55kg extra weight from the factory MIRO or whatever the current terminology is. In other words NOT standard fit.

So your right Martin. all now depends on what happened during negotiations and what has been signed for....
@Annie21220. where did you view van, with the dealer and did it have a drop down bed. did they demponstrate it. when and how was specification discussion....

Hi just been to see a solicitor, when we went to nec a t449 was on show, we specifically told him we wanted that model as it was. obviously he's saying we didn't say that, but hey we'll see what happens, need to negotiate with them now to get the best outcome. At least one thing they can de register it at least it won't be second hand then. Thks for everybody's help... Will let you know the outcome.

We have now placed a new order for the van we wanted with the same dealer, so we have both compromised.. Will now have to wait until dec for delivery, so our motor home journey starts next year .

Looking at the prices earlier in the listing with the prices in Germany you should have gone there same prices in EURO as £££££s
