bad erths on the van

    had a few problem with the electrics on the van think I have fund the problem the earth tags are corroded
    thanks @Jaws john for the advice myself and the grandson will be looking at it tomorrow

    Good luck Bill. Earth faults are sometimes difficult to find but I'm sure with the help of the wee man you will have no problem (y)(y)

    I have three of them fighting for my attention so tomorrow I will play a gam spot the black wire attached to the body of the van the one that finds the most gets a prize

    if not each thing that has a bad earth will have a new one fitted

    Ok fited all the new erths to the van cleaned up all the earth tags replaced all the corroded spade fittings.
    now have window wipers side lights front and back and indicators hazard lights but no head lights or tale lights had tester on fuse box no power gowing to fuse no 3/4/5/6 there the ones the work the lights switch dead as a do do no power doing to it was thinking relay

    Fund the fault thanks to @Jaws looks like a connection had come adrift on the fuse box apparently it's a common fault with the older MK1 Ducato .
    Will have to do a bit of crawling around under the dash board tomorrow

    ok finally got the lights working the live feed from ignition was not working new ignitions switch needed at sum Pont had to bit the bullet and get a auto electrician to help me but every thing working now.
    lesson learnt there
