Heya,

I am thinking of getting a van and converting it.

How do people carry babies in vans?

I was thinking maybe a rocknroll bed with an ISOFIX fitting?

Define baby! Our first MH trip was with our daughter at 18 mths, we could use a standard seat at that age. Do you mean younger than that. By the way, I am pretty confident in saying, no motorhome has ISOFIX, you will have to use the belt attachment regardless of what seat you use.

Hi,
We managed with our little one in our old 1974 VW campervan.
As you can see, we took everything including the kitchen sink!
Cot, high chair, baby food, nappies (because they don't sell them in other towns!) along with every other conceivable extra.
I laugh when I look at these now, but we had a bloody good time.

We have a baby seat which fits ISOFIX and standard seat belts.
As long as your rear seat has a seat belt, you'll be fine.

We've now changed to a motorhome as we have handbags, shoes, make up and other essential items that warrant increasing the payload plate!

Good luck with your plans - I'm sure you'll love the experience.
