i have just arrived at Lake Bled, Slovenia and my fridge has died, strong smell of ammonia, so could someone please help and let me know the closest place to get a new one fitted, I don't want to cut my holiday short and return to UK and I would prefer not to have to travel back to Germany- thanks

Not knowing what sort of fridge it is and being a long way from an expert......

Is it working on electric but not on gas?

Is it smokey?

It could be sooted up, if you take the grill off outside and see if you can get at the burner and see if its sooted up or muck is on the flame

thank you for you help. Just to let you know that outcome. I travelled though Slovenia and finally came across Glavan motorhome centre, Obrtna Cesta 1, Celje, Slovenia where Vojko and his team were very helpful but allas parts were not available until September. BTW they have an aire just outside the premise where I stayed the night. the result - continued my3.5 month European tour down to Dubrovnik without a fridge in 38degree heat. the fridge has now had a new cooling unit installed under guarantee.
