Last trip took us down to Cornwall and after 230 miles of driving I managed to clip a low hanging branch only 1 mile from Trewethin farm. Has smashed the plastic cowling and twisted the steel rod that the awning is wound on. Its not looking good. We are going to the NEC later this Month, anyone know of a firm that may be there with the knowhow to assist?

I think John Cross is going to be there on the Fiamma stand. I'm sure he posted to that effect some time ago. He will no doubt confirm.

Yes we will be running the Fiamma stand as usual, and as we are offering free fitting for all awnings bought at the show, there will be a couple of our fitters there as well. (fitting is outside the halls)

To be honest it seems quite major if the mounting rod is twisted, the broken cap no problem. Only consolation is that it would be an insurance job.
