Looking to install a LED strip light along the case of my awning as has been done numerous times before.
Wish to drill through the awning case and motorhome wall in order to install the cable neatly. The awning sits approx 5mm away from the motorhome wall due to the brackets / installation. Question is how to seal the cable hole, should I just drill the awning case and wall in one go, pass the cable through and seal the wall with sikaflex? Or is there some kind of gland / grommet I should better use?

Drill a 6mm hole right through then drill the awning casing only with a 20mm hole saw
This will leave adequate access to seal the van wall

Good point about going with a larger diameter on the awning case hole. Assume just seal the van wall with sikaflex?

Did note your thread on the LED lighting strip on the forum. How is the strip from aten lighting holding up?
