Near to Sarlat there's Rocamadour (free MH parking in the bus park behind the chateau, 44.800050, 1.615242), and the Gouffre de Padirac which is an impressive natural cave system that they use small boats to get around in for part of the visit. Easy MH parking nearby.

Sarlat's main street is nothing special, but step a few metres to either side of it and you go back about 300 years. There's a medium sized aire at the top end of town, by the cemetery, 44.895445, 1.212477.

A little to the west of Sarlat you've got Le Bugue, Beynac et Cazenac, Castellnaud la Chappelle, La Roque Gageac and Les Eyzies de Tayac Sireuil, all impressive in their own way and all with aires or MH tolerant overnight parking. If you're after prehistory, Les Eyzies is the epicentre.

We visited Sarlat earlir this year and stayed the Camping Indigo site which is a 10 minutes walk (downhill) into the town and 20 minutes walk (uphill) back to the site. Very nice too. Don't go on market days as it is heaving!
