I will watch this closely.

Had advice from a very respected dealer , but I am not convinced.

Same van as you by the way.

I would start at 60psi rear and 52psi front and see what the ride and handling is like.

If any tyres feel hot and sticky after a decent run then increase the pressure a couple of psi at a time until they feel just warm.

Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
The only way to get it right is to load your van up,weigh it and contact your tyre manufacturer. They will the give you the recommended tyre pressures.
On my 2004 Apache, running close on the full legal weight with Mitchelin camping tyres its 60 front and 80 rear psi.

Just looking through my books on my new (new to me) motorhome Roller Team 600 on a ford and it quotes 55psi front and 70psi rear.
This got me thinking because of the size of the van and convenience it would be useful to have a 12v tyre pump which will get tyres upto 70psi.
Does anyone have any recommendations for these small but powerful 12v pumps

Hang on while I look at my watch
Thanks for all your help.

Opened up a can of worms that one. My van is a 2006 model with 3800 weight.

Will get the axle weights off the plate under bonnet later in the week.

I can recommend this one....and quite a few funsters bought one on my recommendation.

May be cheap but it does what it says on the box.

I currently have mine connected to a 24 litre air receiver tank running at 115psi for powering airhorns ...takes just 8 minutes to pressurised from 70 psi to 115 psi.

Used it regularly on my RV tyres running at 80psi
