Autotrail Cheyenne (1 Viewer)

Friend of mine is about to purchase a 2009 Cheyenne and asked me is there any problems with this model.
I can't answer because I've never owned one.
Anybody on here know about this model, does it suffer from water ingress etc....

Yes, check water ingress in rear garage and under the driver side seats - based on our experience with a 2010 Comanche

I had a 2009 Scout on which all the lower seals needed to be replaced and garage doors,gas locker door had to be refitted with new sealant. plus large window in dinette removed and resealed.

The sealant they used when building the motorhome was obviously suspect.

We have a 2010 apache. No damp
Alan has a 2004 Cheyenne and no damp.

Think any mh can get damp. Best to use a damp meter, your nose and eyes on any purchase.

Auto trails are fast becoming notorious for damp issues.

I would definitely get it checked out.

My 2012 tracker failed for damp at its third and fourth jab check

We owned a 2004 Cheyene 696g on merc chassis and when we sold it four years ago didn't have any damp in it a lovely van.

after having no luck finding an auto trail within our price range anywhere within 80 miles of us with no damp, or one that had not had it in the past, we went for another make.

My Autotrail Dakota has just had its 10th birthday, 6 years with me and she's blooming awesome!!!

No damp, great layout and well built. Yeah, sure there were tiny niggles, but all addressed now and still giving me great service. I have my own damp meter and check it regularly and never once found any issues at all

There are not many motorhomes built that are perfect I'm afraid
