Does anyone know what the small circular roof vent in front of the forward hatch on the overcab is for on
a 3berth Autosleeper Executive?

It does not seen to operate as ventilation as the headlining completely covers the interior part of the vent so no air can circulate.

as we never use ther overcab bed I was thinking of removing it and fitting some sort of blanking panel.

We had 2 on our Mirage, but you could open them slightly from inside for night ventilation. Can't understand that you can't open them - has somebody renewed the headlining? have they leaked previosly? a bit of investigation is needed I think!

We got an Executive with the same vent, ours is not covered over and acts a vent when the overcab bed is in use.
Like the previous poster says it looks like the roof lining has been replaced.
If you do reinstate the vent make you can close it when driving otherwise the wind noise is horrendous.
Otherwise you could blank it off as you suggest.:RollEyes::RollEyes:
