I filled up with gas today from Auto gas Etruria, Stoke on Trent.

40p per litre if used for cooking heating, more if vehicle runs on gas.

The difference is the VAT on road fuel is 20%, for cooking / heating 5%

You did well to find a retailer prepared to bother with the different prices, our local gas depot does. most don't (y)

There is a good earner there for them then. Just sell it with 20% on, then through the books as mostly for cooking =15% more profit.jobs a good un.(y)

We filled up our new refill system twice when we were away as Martin is a worrier about running out...... a bit embarrassing when I went to pay..... £2.56 first fill and then £5.23 second fill. The young man at the second filling station came out to fill for us as he wanted to look at Buffy. We showed him all the stuff he asked to see and he was very impressed with the alugas system and the outside BBQ point.

That sounds a very good price. Filled up in Brittany and that cost 70 cents/litre (? 50p/litre).
