Hi,

we are returning to the lifestyle after a short break away, didn't think that it suited us but probably made the wrong choice of van.

Looking for a smaller van and considering the Autocruise Starfire, has anyone any thoughts on these, positive or other?

Thanks,

Umper Lumper:Smile:

Good old John Cross Campers. I wish you were nearer Durham. Maybe it would be a good idea to for you to start a dealer/salesman school. You could try and help them please customers and be reliable, like yourselves. You may have to spend the first few days explaining the meaning of SERVICE and CUSTOMER CARE. Good luck and keep your help flowing, we rely on you.

starfire

Hi, we have a 1999 starfire, has been a magic motorhome, the shower and bathroom are a good size, even i can use it with ease. we wild camp. and can be independant for about 3 nights for water and power, we have a refiilable gas bottle spo no problems with changing bottles, and having a gauge we never run out, so all in all, we think a perfect vehicle,,, will fit in a bay, 28/32 m p g, ask away. will try and answer,,,
By the way, ours is up for sale, only 25k on clock, and perfect, illness forces sale,, we are having to give up motorhoming, :thumb: 16950 pounds :thumb::thumb:

Hi, we had a 2001 Starfire for three years, bought secondhand, we loved it. The washroom is enormous, it uses a shower curtain to block off the door-don't forget to use it you get a wet carpet! The more modern Starfire has the swing wall in the washroom which shuts off the shower.
The only slightly annoying thing was the making/unmaking of the bed but that is a personal thing. We found the van very user friendly-we loved it.

Autocruise starfire for sale in Northallerton

Hi there

The in laws have had a 2004 Starfire for a number of years and we found it great to use when we borrowed it, it is easy to park but big enough to have all the amenities.

Due to his age and us having to transport 3 kids so it is now for sale, give us a call if you want to discuss it we are only down in Northallerton.

Welcome to FUN Chris, jumped in at the deep end with your first post but you were only trying to be helpful. I should think Umper Lumper has either bought one by now or given up after 2 years. :roflmto:
