We had a problem with our fire keep going out, on our Autotrail Cherokee, when it was windy.
The trouble seemed to be, that the top of the chimney was level with the sides on the roof.
The air was sucked up the side of the van and into the top of the chimney and it went straight down the flue so putting the fire out.
We were at Peterborough show this year and was able to purchase a new chimney that was a foot long so we shortened that to 6 ins and screwed it on top of the orignal chimney, so lengthening it and we have not had any more problems with the fire going out since.:thumb:
