Not sure why but I am just getting an error message from your link. I have read of radio activity by aurora this afternoon. (6 metre band)
EDIT: Tried the link again & now it is working.
We're in the Faroes so I shall be looking out tonight.
Should visible from Northern Ireland and Northern England - if you have clear skies. Quite a bit of cloud about, but some gaps: http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/weather/satellite/UK.htm
I get these email alerts as well, this looks like the biggest solar event activity for years
Typical MH parked up having work done or I would be on my way north
10 days too early for us ... can someone bottle it so we can see it when we arrive in Scotland next week?
Red alert now - possibly visible anywhere in the UK!
Where do I look?
Doesn't seem very interesting looking for Aurora Suet...... Is it in pudding form??
In the oven Gerri.
I just KNEW as soon as I posted that I was asking for trouble....
I'll just go now then......
North north east, but you would need to be very lucky to see anything as far south as Gloucestershire, but this is as good a chance as we have had for years
worth a look if clear sky and not too much light pollution
its a sign! its a sign! the end is near i must get the children to leave sell up and move south.
Now how do i convince the wife?
Got clear skies here but too much light pollution I think. Can everyone in Plymouth please turn off their lights?
We've had thick fog all day so no chance.
Shine a torch upwards, wave it about and you can make your own. Several glasses of brandy beforehand enhance the effect.
You need to go North, not south.
I have seen the light...
LEDs only please.
My brain seems to be of that stuff....
