I did a search for the opening hours and as posted the results... but a double check wouldnt go amiss

Will post the info once I find out, (7 days from now) will be of use to someone. I will take a picture of the opening hours sign at the door, (assuming there is one!!!)

According to Auchan's own website which I have just looked at, it is only open till 22.00 on Fridays, Sat-Thurs, it's 21.30. Altho closed Sunday as already stated.

We''ll be parked up there ourselves next Monday morning at silly o'clock fresh from a late night Tesco-tunnel crossing. Pity their pains au raisins are orrible now ..... (they've started putting ICING on em, yeeukkkk.)

Sunday opening

As a general rule French hypermarkets only open on Sundays in December.

Bob - there's a lot of em open Sunday mornings now even in fairly rural towns - possibly more Intermarche than others but you can't rely on it. Ditto closing at lunchtime or any shops being open on Mondays.

No it isn't (apart from the 24 hr credit card petrol bit). :thumb:

I always work on the assumption that France is closed on a Sunday.
