Attendance limit for the Lincoln Show- Now 150 (1 Viewer)

I agree but booked up 8 weeks ahead ?
I never plan more than a few weeks ahead (commitments), others have family/health issues
Will probably go to Lincoln but will book a couple of weeks before - into general camping unless RVOC do what they are doing at Malvern

Can someone (who's booked) post a copy of the site/parking plan that shows club and general camping for those of us that didn't make the 'Top 100'

Dave its not Warners imposing the limit, and you thought exactly what I did. Here is the reply Jim put to my post on page 1

The limits are self imposed, nothing to do with Warners, they will give us as big an area as we ask for. But if we want more than 100 together we will be a long way from the showground.

Agree about "own meets" outside the shows but finding a venue within a reasonable drive from where I am that will hold as many funsters as want to attend under £20 a night is not an easy task.

They are not limiting us at all Dave. If we want to park up in General camping we have have as bigger pitch as we want, except these days lots of people are booking with Fun because of the good pitches we get so it's a catch 22. I'm waiting on a call back this afternoon and may well be able to get us some extra space.

As we cannot commit to booking so early it looks like we will not be meeting up with funsters at the shows anymore.

Law of averages. There will always be a couple of no shows due to unexpected circumstances at the last minute or on route.
It's just one of those things lol
tried to get to bruges once, didn't even make it off my drive. Front suspension spring broke!
We have it at the camp site for a variety of reasons. Folk leave early as well.

I go for the meet up with fellow funsters, the show is a secondary consideration. With the internet any bits and pieces i want can be found elsewhere. But then 40-50 pounds for a long weekend can also be good value. Like the man said, pay ya money take ya choice.

I havnt booked can do it tonight or is it too late ? Too late to get involved and park with the Funsters ? was looking forward to it but was waiting on getting friday time off approved.
