On the road again at last. It seems to have been a long time coming this year.

We left Market Harborough yesterday and went the huge distance of 51 miles to Ilkeston and Regal Furnishings. After a quiet night in their yard we were invaded at 7:30am by 6 guys all with tape measures, drawing implements and within an hour we were designed, curtains chosen and off to the local cafe for breakfast.

I'm sure you'll be going for something a little more muted than the current design Sandra :Eeek: Look forward to seeing the finished result (y)

I am always so glad with these reupholstery jobs when somebody else asks something that makes it obvious the photo is the one still to be changed, thanks @Kim H

Even with my think twice before typing phase of life it is still very easy to be wrong :)

Looking forward to the finished version Sandra (y)

Well done David, you are getting better! Yes, we have lived with the multi coloured, magic mushroom indused designed interior for long enough, it was a mini celebration throwing it out onto the floor. Things will be a little more mainstream and easier on the eye.

I take it my Bassar Kashmiri Chicken Curry won't be allowed to be eaten 'chez van' then... never mind, we will just have to eat it in Jac's immaculate kitchen instead.....

Thanks for the comments folks. I must admit we are pleased, it's like having a proper grown up motorhome now. We have added a liberal scattering of sheep skin pelts, which we are rather partial to, now it feels like home.

@Debs - what a shame I didn't know you were around, I noticed a rather nice Gin Bar at the top of the town!

Looks lovely Sandra. Can't believe they can do all of that in just one day.

Walking through Market Harborough this morning, saw a van with a Funster sticker put into a service station, thought I'd say hello and who should jump out but Sardra @Armytwowheels and Colin @SidJames, so had a nosey at their lovely new upholstery and very nice it was, as they drove off for the New Forrest meet it made me very jealous. So very nice to catch up with you guys again. :)
