Apps to find stop overs. (1 Viewer)

We have just stayed over night at a very popular wild camp/ stop over place near Keswick.
I tried using the apps that were recommended but found the following:

Camperstops shows nowhere to stop near Keswick, Campercontact shows none, it's only Park 4 night that shows any.

Am I using the wring ones or are they not very good?

Are you using the subscription version of Campercontact, or the free cut-down one?

If the latter, that could be the reason, but otherwise I cant offer much assistance.

However, you could try 'searchforsites.co.uk' and put Keswick in the search - appears to have a few wild spots etc in the vicinity:
