I will be insulating and heating the stupidly designed underslung fresh and wastewater tanks soon.
I am buying insulating wrap from CAK Tanks and was going to buy their in tank heaters too, but recently saw Tank Blankets advertised.
I don't really fancy drilling holes in the tank so the stick on blankets seem a great idea.
Has anybody used them? Are they as good as they claim?

Thinking about insulating my freshwater tank for the trip down to Spain so would be interested to see any replies.

Does it do the job? The insulation wrap from CAK Tanks is quite cheap, 1200mm (48") x 1 metre for under £15. I reckon I will need 4 metres to do both tanks plus a bit more for the pipe work. I was just going to buy a heated tank blanket for the freshwater tank and see how we get on with just an insulated waste tank

Just done our underslung water tank with the stuff mentioned and a roll of duct tape.
Easy to do when up on ramps,
We are in Portugal so not much chance of them freezing but you never know especially on the trip back up?

That's the stuff. I am going to use that with a maybe a tank blanket and insulated pipes. You can buy waterproof insulated pipe wrap too, if I can remember where I saw it.
Then, of course, we will have the warmest winter on record!
