There's quite a good aire at Palencia usually quite busy but close t town and some walks along the river bank you can park in the car bays with the trailer using two spaces we've seen lots of vans with trailers do it without any problems from the law.

CamperContact lists 3 aires and a campsite. Can't comment on them but might be worth investigating.

If you get a chance go to the chocolate shop in the square near the cathedral. The hot chocolate they serve will spoil you for ever, and if you have the churro's you will never leave. :)

They probably should pay me commission! But the app is so easy to use. Type in Burgos, print screen and post. :)
Better than old maps and books eh @DBK ?

Have stayed at Camping Fuentes Blancas www.campingburgos.com

Grass pitches can be a bit muddy but can pitch on site road if a problem.
Hook ups dont all work was 16€

We've also overnighted at Camping Fuentes Blancas Burgos - a couple of years ago. It was an ACSI site at the time and expect it still is.

It was fine for us and we'd happily stay there again.

Whenever we stop at Burgos on our way south or back home there is snow, never actually been into the town, something for the future .

We stayed at Torquemada last night, on the road between Palencia and Burgos. Plenty of space, only one other Motorhome there with a trailer attached. Free water and dump. N42degrees02.203'. W004degrees18.988'.

Along the road from the aire, is, if you dare, a weighbridge. Drive in, put your 50 cents in the machine, hey presto, your ticket comes out.
