As I understand it, the 2017 (Auto-Trail) models will have the Euro 6 engines fitted. A quick Google search mentions that some vans will have 10 or 15 litre tanks fitted for AdBlue.

1 litre is burnt around 200 miles according to this site

If anyone has Euro 6, how much does AdBlue cost and does it really last for 200miles?

May be I should go for the end of year 2016 models with Euro 5 engines.

The Fiat Ducato Euro VI does not use AdBlue.

"There are exceptions, however. For example, Fiat Professional has chosen to use Low Pressure Exhaust Gas Recirculation alone to meet Euro 6 in the latest Ducato (pictured above), a development of the existing Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) technology that has been used in diesel vehicles for years."

AdBlue is another layer of complexity added to more complexity, I shall be specifying a FIAT base....

My Merc has a Euro 6 engine that required adblue. Can't say I was that happy about it but a lot of E6 Diesel engines have gone down this route.

The vehicle has an 18litre adblue tank, which they reckon lasts about 3,000 miles. From my own consumption this seems about right as I bought a 10L adblue from Halford's for about £13. It's all used up, and tank shows about half full after 3,000 miles. Hence in the 3,000 miles done, it's got through the original 18 L and the replacement 10L has about half filled the tank.

DO NOT BUY IT FROM HALFRAUDS they charge waaaaaayyyyy too much. most big filling stations sell it on pump with the magnetic filler, probably 65p per litre, my friend buys in large bulk for his truck and it is less than 35p. It is only distilled water , Urea and sometimes dye. Put it in a can with a label and treble the cost to mugs in shops. Commercial premises are a better source all round for adblue, truckers would not stand for it otherwise.
