I am sure I read somewhere it was £65 for three days. As we are only a couple of miles away I might go for the day.

Seems to be a lot going on other than the Motorhome Show. Might give this one a punt on our way to our delayed trip to France.

4 nights camping, from Thursday 17th - Monday 21st June
in the grounds of Prestwold Hall, near Loughborough in Leicestershire for as little as £12.25 per night*.
Pre-booked admission is £49.00 for up to two adults in one motorhome/camper with additional adults (15yrs+) £12 each.

Certainly we are thinking of going - sounds like a good weekend - I think they are a bit previous on the advertising though - we phoned up the hotline and were connected to the Model Railway hotline which is apparently run by the same outfit - eventually got connected to a subscription office that told us they would be going live on this in about a fortnight - they also said that there would be no 'club' areas allocated - if anyone wanted to be pitched together they would have to arrive together. I wonder if they would change that if approached by a club offical ?

Hi all,

Unfortunately it clashes with our dates for Germany, so we won't be going.

The CC used it for their "National Rally" venue last year I believe.

Booking available now on 'MMM magazine' website, just google that and then click on shows, then the link to the show and you can do it all online. I don't think there will be any club areas because it was to celebrate 50 years of The Motorhome Club, although that doesn't seem to be mentioned anymore, so it's their party so to speak.

We are going to use the show as a "Jumping Off" point for our holiday in France, but we will wait a while to see how popular it's going to be

Pity, the rest looks OK.

Though for us The Great Bring and Buy is the following week and it clashes with Silverstone MotoGP.

We are going to use the show as a "Jumping Off" point for our holiday in France, but we will wait a while to see how popular it's going to be

If I had some idea of numbers I would ring the organisers and see if we could not all be put together ...
But it is harder to get that figure than to get a camel through the eye of a blind begger or something like that !!
