@JJ is the one to ask. I do believe he has existed on a diet of Fray Bentos pies and John Smiths bitter for decades.

I assumed I'd eat in the van but often it's hard to get vegan products like tofu or nut or grain milks. Recently in Denmark there was very little to be found
Will just have to seek out health food shops I guess

There's more meat in a vegan diet than the average Fray Bentos pie

STATISTICALLY ??? BUSBY.

Don't think there's many of them in one either.

I think you have to keep a minimum of 6 metres distance from anyone else when you eat one though (y)

Firstly I confess that I don't know what a vegan may not eat.

This part of France does not really understand non-meat eaters but I'm sure that you would find something suitable in most of the supermarkets. But don't expect (m)any restaurants to cater for your needs.

No animal products at all.

So no meat, fish or gelatin obviously. Also no eggs, dairy products or honey.

Very strict ones won't wear anything made from wool or leather either.

Not long enough!
You can buy veg, fruits, nuts and various rice and grains from most places.
You'll just gave to drink water, juice or black tea and coffee.
From what I understand about a vegan diet, you have to take vitamin supplements anyway.

Think its nothing from an animal,,no meat, no milk, no cheese, no woolen clothes,no leather shoes ,belts gloves etc,,,Poor animals,,if we didn't use them they would not exist ,,fields full of crops,,no sheep, goats ,cattle, chickens, ducks or geese,,It would be a sad world. Can understand peoples ethics but it would be the end for many animals that we see every day. BUSBY.

We are not vegan, but my son and family are, other grandson is galactosaemic, so no dairy for him. Do always hava a look when out and about there are more options available now than in 2010 but mainly in the larger/more popular places. Not sure about eating out, mercadona in Spain sells soya milk and I am sure I have seen tofu there too.
will take note when we go later.

Simple cure for vegans is the smell of cooking bacon in the morning. The show rallies Sunday morning, as an example.
I wonder what would have happened if all those people stuck on the A20 during the Dover , traffic jams trouble were all hungry and a Motorhomer started to cook their own Bacon breakfast. Attack by the Golden Hoards no doubt.

Getting better
I was in Belgium a few years back on business, one of our group was a veggie and tried to order something other than omelette. One waiter said it would solve the problem by making sure the steak was cooked through .....no blood running out made it
into a veggie dish. I thought it was the ideal solution.

In my younger days I was invited to dinner with a couple who into macrobiotic diet (beans and seeds etc ) My asking for a perch to sit on after the meal did not go down too well.
