There's a very nice one, attached to a campsite, at Bacharach called Sonnenstrand. The only other one we liked was at Braubach and that was stellplatz am Rhineufer.

Its a Dutch guy that runs the adjoining campsite at Bacharach, he comes and collects your money and they do very good evening meals in the campsite restaurant. If you are as lucky as me and get a front line pitch next to the river you can sit and watch the river taffic all day then walk across the road into the old cobbled streets of Bacharach for evening refreshments.

There's a couple up at Oberweisel (sp). We stayed on a car park one right on the edge of the river.

As mentioned the one at Bacharach is good (I think you could use the showers in the camp for a fee). The Stellaplatz at Bigen is quite nice (almost a camp) but the area is not that special.

If Stella did a platz, it would be the finest platz in the world, probably!!!!
