Hi, we have spent a lot of time in Germany, just been for 9 weeks but we stay on stellplatz :Smile: Free or cheap and only ever stopped on one camp site.::bigsmile:

But the german tourist information are very good, and will send you all the information you want, we have had camp sites / cycling / and just been on the Romantic Route and had a lot of stuff on that. This morning they sent us things about Christmas markets............. But we will be going to Lincoln Christmas market........:winky::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: We have been to the Black Forest and find the best time is in the Spring.:thumb:

We came through in October but it was really foggy and cold but Baden Baden is very nice any time.::bigsmile:

Just get on the mailing List .:thumb: Bob.

Hi again here is the link to the site we stayed at http://www.campingpark-oase.de/.
It was about 10min flat walk to the town of ettinheim which has everything youd want or need. There is plenty of cycle routes also and a bus and train station close by wher you can go to frielburg.

The site is very clean and has a small shop and just outside the gate is a lovely resturant that does carry out also. There is a theme park in rust which is close by and a good day out if you have kids or big kids. The campsite doesnt have a pool but right next door is the town pool which is outdoor and very good.

We stayed here for 4 nights in 2007 then headed into France for mallbusion.

If you would like any more info just ask.

Gerry

hi if you dont fancy the german stelplatz stopovers then invest in an acsi card this comes with a directory with lots of campsites in many countries including around the black forest full of photographs and descriptions of each site plus web addresses. also you will save money as this is a discount scheme and you will not pay more than 15 euro a night.:thumb:
regards
jeff.

One of the best in that region is Camping Belchenblick in Staufen. Great site, great location, friendly owners.
