No longer a newbie
We're thinking of spending a couple of weeks in Northern Italy, starting and finishing near Nice (where my brother lives, and we can leave the Motorhome).

I was thinking along the coast to Genoa, and maybe a bit more eastwards.

For this time we'll avoid the Alpine areas, otherwise I'll get a Force 9 on the Whinge-ometer.

I've got the Aree di Sosta book, and the ACSI thingy.

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated, otherwise I'll just be sticking a pin in a map. Lots to be said for that, but as this will be our first major trip in Europe, apart from our delivery one, and it would be foolish not to listen to you more experienced Motorhomers.

Thanks for reading...

Cheers

Peter

Pisa and Florence two excellent places, Florence being the better.

Diano Marina, lovely seaside town.

Not long enough!
Try and catch a train into Venice for the day.
Also, if you are into cars, perhaps a visit to Ferrari or lamborghini?
