It is obvious that ants have taken over the planet but how do I get the little bastards out of my van. Last time it took months to get rid of them, is there a cure?

Draw a chalk line around the whole van, apparently they won't cross it?!! :D

Find where the trail leads into your van (ie which wheel(s) are they going up?) and liberally sprinkle with the white dust of doom, which they carry back into the nest. It does for wasps in about 2-3 days so should nobble ants too.

that white powder sorted ours - they entered via the hookup locker.

An interesting fact I heard on the radio yesterday, the weight of all the ants in the world is equal to the weight of all humans, didn't say who did the weighing:)

Spray bought in Italian supermarket killed ours instantly. Important thing is dosing the entry path, which in our case was a branch resting on the roof.

It is interesting that Quinta Majay has many ants living in their holes in the ground all over the place, and yet not one solitary ant has bothered to get into any of the motorhomes that have visited.

My theory is that they have all they need in this natural paradise without resorting to invading strange environments...

Live and let live... the motto of QMJ. (Not counting bloody flies and mossies.)

If only we humans could work so well, and so constantly, for the benefit of our communities like the ants.

I was plagued by carpenter ants in the fifth wheel in America and they resisted absolutely everything until the "smoke bomb" attack with a precautionary follow up did for them completely (see @ol-mo above) It was horrid opening up cupboards and having them swarm out everywhere; they even got in the 'fridge!
