Hello all,
Am new to this site and relatively new to the joys of owning a motorhome which we acquired in September 2013. Me and hubby had touring caravans years ago but always said we'd have a motorhome when we retired and could make more use. Well that's upon us now and the Autocruise Stardream is currently sitting on the drive waiting to be packed for our trip to Europe next week.
We've never done any rallies before but considering the Hartlepool one this year as a taster.
If anyone else has a Stardream is the water pump supposed to be so noisy? Anyway, looking forward to meeting new friends and likeminded travellers.

Hi Phil, after turning the taps off it makes a loud chuddering sort of noise for a few seconds and occasionally makes noises when it's not being used.

Sounds OK to me, it's a system that keeps pressure in the pipes, as the pressure decays it gives another burrrrrrrrp to top it up. If it happened a lot you may have a leak.

Welcome from Thebus Phoebe and Me :)

I couldn't believe how noisy the water pump is, but apparently that is normal. Have to say you get use to it after a while :)
