I'm a newbie
Hello everyone!

I've just bought a VW T5 campervan which I love driving round in but I haven't got on the road properly yet to stay overnight anywhere. Just collecting a few essentials like Porta Potti and empty gas bottles before I take the plunge.

Hugely excited about getting on the road but pretty terrified at the same time. It's great to have this forum so I can ask silly questions

Hi and welcome to fun, the more questions you ask the better, none are silly you just don't know the answer yet, keep reading keep posting you have a mine of information at your finger tips, just a matter of digging it out. :welcomefunster:

Hi CathR,

Welcome to FUN... you're amongst friends here who are more than happy to help if possible. In that spirit of friendship, can I suggest that you get some full gas bottles, as empty ones lok nice in the locker but are notoriously poor at facilitating a hearty cooked breakfast. :thumb:

No need to thank me, just trying to help! LOL.

Welcome CathR. I agree with Spenders, full gas bottles are pretty essential and jolly useful for cooking nice stuff in the van.
That's the first technical question I've ever been able to have an answer too! I'm getting good at this motorhome lark. :ROFLMAO:

Hi and welcome. One thing you'll find is there are no silly questions. If you want to know anything just ask. We all have to learn. I spent 20 minutes the other night trying to work out how to flush the loo. I was not even in my van!!!
