Coulville Plage (Normandy 130, All the Aires). Lovely stretch of golden sandy beach 2 mins walk away. Shady picnic area opposite and lots walks across open land behind that. Pretty much perfect! Thoroughly recommend this one. We've arrived midweek and it's very quiet but imagine it would be very busy weekends and high season. Patisserie short bike ride away but local tourist commerce only open a few hours at the moment, so need to arrive stocked up if you come this time of year. 6.50 euros a night and there are loos, bargain! Oh it's going to be soooo hard to go home next week!

Thanks Terry looks just like our kind of Aire.
Think we'll make our way there this morning as we're moving on and making our way back up towards Calais on our reluctant trek back home!

I entered these Coordinates into Navmii and it gives a wrong address over near Paris. Changing it to -1° or E get the correct address. This latest version of Navmii is not quite as bulletproof as the previous one. Google maps gets it right 1st time

just checked.. as you said.. the co-ords are spot on when used with Google maps.. the POI loaded on my Garmin is also correct ..

I have no idea why it's incorrect on Navmii

Like I say Jim Navmii was a really good free GPS for the phone, travelled Europe with it but last year they updated it and it now will not cross the channel. I need to do a route in the UK and the do one in France for the rest of the journey. Having to reverse the Western to Eastern is really weird. Better get onto their forum and let them know. I have got a nice little TomTom now so only use the Navmii as a back up.

We are here! (Cerisy La Foret)It's absolutely beautiful, thanks Terry (Fidget). We have it all to ourselves! Free water and electric! Surrounded by art, history and fields of very healthy mares and foals, paradise! Internet a bit hit and miss so will post more later when (if) we leave!

We found a small supermarket and a patisserie about 10mins walk away. Almost surreal last night, just us and the sculptures. Half expected them to start walking about!::bigsmile:Have moved onto Fecamp, very different! Busy, funfair opposite! Looking out over the marina and pretending we're in Cannes ::bigsmile:

It worked, thanks. Yes that's the one. A bit more crowded in the pics than when we were there. Think camper contact pics more indicative of what it's like when busy. Tour de France is on that route so expect Aire will be heaving then.

PS Water pressure very high saw two gents get their bits blasted 'cos they stood in front of outlet!! (did try to warn second chap, English, but he either didn't hear or didn't believe me. He got quite a surprise plus a very wet crotch!)
