In my opinion this one is destined to knock the tinned pie off the top spot. Aldi are selling tins of 'Hunters Hot Chicken Curry' (they also do a mild version) for 99p. Sceptically picked one up to try and was astounded how good it tasted and the chunks of real chicken breast it contained. Absolutely perfect with a naan or a bunch of chapattis.:thumb:

We've got an Aldi in Portsmouth Fidget, pop over. If you bought a dozen they would only

cost about £8-00 each with the ferry crossing..........

Great idea Popeye... or I could drive a round trip of 900 kms and buy them in the Algarve at 3 or 4 euros each!

Float him a few out for goodness sake!

Have floated a few out towards Bembridge / Whitecliff bay area, all Four have your name on them. I suggest you stand near St Helens Fort at about 15.40 today but wear waiders as they may be off shore a little.

Best of luck................Griff

Now if they put the Hunter's Hot Chicken Curry as a filling in the FB Pie........:Eeek:

What a winner.... :thumb:

Light fluffy Puff pastry on top........:coolthumb:

Hot Chicken Curry with REAL Chicken Breast in the middle.....:wooo:

and that uniquely special FB stodgy pie base underneath........:yeah:

I'm drooling at the thought, and with a shelf life of 5 years +/- in the van, unbeatable.
